“Away from the City'

"In front of Glenelg beach. My 18 month child loved running on the grass and sand and chasing seagulls by the beach. 10 mins walk to some restaurants and supermarket. We stayed at the Crows nest and did a lot of cooking. We were there in a rather warm Autumn. This was much better than the beach side hotels if you are trying to escape the city life.

Room Tip: Crow nest is on the second level with good privacy"

'ticked all our boxes for a family of 5'

'Having a family of five we often have difficulty finding suitable accomodation that appeals to not only us but also our three children. Seawall is a great place to stay, providing for all our needs for self contained living, laundry facilities, easy parking and beautiful views. We were fortunate enough to stay in two of their apartments and both were consistent in cleanliness and presentation. Staff were always helpful (even when we locked ourselves out at 11pm at night!!) A fantastic location with an easy walk to Jetty Road we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to anyone. Thankyou'

“Excellent place to relax - 5/5 stars”

This place lived up to our expectations and as a bonus we found that we had been moved to 'The Quarter Deck' which was an apartment with rooms and a decking overlooking the sea. The apartment was fabulous with so much space. It was a great location for walking miles along the beach, for shopping and also for getting into Adelaide by tram. We used the BBQ almost every night which overlooked the sea..”

"Best Beach Atmosphere"

The room was very clean, supplied with everything we needed in the kitchen. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom nice size. Free laundry. View and sounds of beach wonderful. No traffic sounds. Great to have bbq's outsidewith lots of weathered wood tables. Service great. Antique nautical theme decor outside and throughout the facility fun, quaint and provide great atmosphere in this quiet, non high rise facility which is close to jetty road, restaurants, shopping, the famous tram and right on the boardwalk and beach.. Highly recommend for families, groups, couples or individuals.

'Why chose a chain hotel when you could chose Seawall?'

'Loved Seawall Apartments and will stay again. I usually stay in the city when in Adelaide but walked past Seawall on a recent business trip and thought I'd try it out. I just love the buildings and the way the apartments have been furnished- it's a lovely peaceful place to be at the end of a long day. Highly recommend it- get up early and stroll on the beach before work- you can't beat that!!'

“Charming and beautiful”

There's not much to add to previous reviews - Seawall really is very well run, beautifully situated in an older but restored building, and employs excellent staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Our two bedroom apartment was quiet throughout every night we stayed here. Highly recommended for families."

"Splendid Seawall"

Faithfully restored building, luxuriously appointed, ample quality linen, beautiful views from School House apartment and very quiet. Access to Adelaide city area via the nearby tram was efficient. Staff most helpful when suggesting places to dine.
Room Tip: Try to secure a front apartment to take full advantage of the superb views, especially at sunset.

"Home away from home"

One of my very favourite places to stay in the world. Location perfect, accommodation well suited to the location and only metres from the esplanade and beach. Always a pleasant breeze, even on the hottest of days and a great expanse of well tended lawns and mature Norfolk Island pines offering shade when required.
There are apartments to cater to all needs, from one level, flat entry to beach front federation style balconies.
This was my 5th stay, and I look forward to returning again in the future.

"Magic Location"

We stayed 8 nights with our children and had a wonderful time. The property is historic and retains its character but with modern comforts. Room was lovely - newly furbished so looked great & really comfortable,TV and A/C in lounge & each bedroom. Even though we had a 5 day heat-wave, with the A/C & the beach we were among the luckiest people in Adelaide. We ate at the Marina & Jetty Road, had a BBQ on our balcony and a spa looking out to sea.Staff were friendly & helpful.

“Girls to trip to Glenelg -Beach views are great, sunsets spectacular”

It was our first visit to Seawall apartments, and due to our wonderful experience, I don't think it will be our last. Apartments were spotless, and we had a wonderful view of the beach both from inside and also our private deck, which provided the most amazing sunsets ever seen.

A nice stroll down to the main strip of Glenelg and also the mariner to sample some delicacies whilst taking in the view just made our weekend more spectacular, and not wanting to leave.
The service from Seawall was outstanding as they allocated apartments to suit our needs, and left us all planning our next trip the minute we got home.

"Wonderful wonderful wonderful"

We were only in SA for a weekend but the quality and location of the accommodation made it feel so much longer - like we had been on a proper holiday.
From the first moment the staff were incredibly helpful and the apartment was beyond belief... Super clean, incredibly comfy beds, lots of space and we went to sleep and woke up to the sound of the ocean. The kitchen had everything you need and restaurants, transport, bars etc are such a short walk away.
Sitting on the veranda, watching the sun go down over the sea and drinking wine was a definite highlight.
Can't recommend them highly enough!

“Great place for a group getaway”

“A group of 8 of us stayed in 'The Beach House' 3 bedroom apartment over the Queens Birthday long weekend. We had a great stay here!

The apartment was spacious and light. We loved the high ceilings, and little design details. The beds in all of the rooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equiped. The deck out the front was perfect for a BBQ and to sit to watch the sunset.

The owners were very accommodating and easy going allowing us to check in earlier and check out later due to our flight times. '

The property is a nice 5-10minute flat walk along the beach front to everything you could need, even the tram into the city (although since Taxi's are so cheap in ADL you might be better to catch one of those to the city if you have a group rather than the tram).

I highly recommend staying here rather than the CBD!!”

"Perfect beach front holiday for kids"

“We couldn't recommend a place to stay more. Over from London, we went to Melbourne & Byron Bay too but this was the most relaxing time we could have hoped for. The accommodation was bright, clean, spacious and provided everything you need. Fully fitted kitchen, free laundry, free wifi, and more. We loved our breakfasts on the sea front verandah and BBQ's in the evenings. Local bottle shops on Jetty Rd provided exceptional wine selection and fantastic butchers and gourmet grocers had everything we needed to cook up a storm each night. The sunsets were just astounding. Our 7 and 9 yr old never tired of playing on the beach only 20 ft from our door front and enjoyed a new found freedom and independence to come and go as we lazed the day away with friends on the verandah and watched the world go by. Enjoyed a great day in near by McLaren Vale and another in Adelaide hills wineries and Hahndorf. The Tram is so quick and easy to get into town although Glenelg has so much, it's not even necessary. The kids had a great time at the water slides by Jetty rd too. It really has everything. Even fishing off the jetty!

We will definitely be back. The best choice in Adelaide without a doubt. Thank you Seawall apartments for a really special time.”

“Recommend this place to families travelling with children!”

“I was so glad we chose to stay in Glenelg instead of than the Adelaide CBD. With a toddler in tow, it was lovely to be able to walk out the door and straight onto a seafront promenade, rather than negotiate busy streets and traffic. The Seawall is a short walk from the main Glenelg shops and restaurants, plus the parks and playgrounds at the marina. We were also happy to discover the nearby Beachouse activity complex, with an old-timey carousel and ferris wheel - our daughter loved it!The apartments themselves were clean and modern, with plenty of room for a family (we had a two-bedroom, which came with large living room and separate kitchen).
