Just last weekend I fell in love with Glenelg just a little bit more. As a thank you to my Mum who was over from Victoria and had been staying with us for the past 6 weeks to help out with our 9 month old baby girl, we decided to take her one of our favourite restaurants, Zucca Greek Mezze.
As we strolled along the esplanade, soaking up the 25 degree UV rays, I couldn’t help but smile at the man with all of the young kiddies that had surrounded him, desperate to catch the human sized bubbles that he was making float throughout the sea air. Families were everywhere, watching their little ones jumping in the Moseley Square fountains, and playing endlessly on all of the shiny new equipment in the new Nature Play playground.
When we arrived at Zucca we were shown to our table, complete with high chair and gorgeous view of the Marina.
As we sipped on our glasses of prosecco and dined on mouth watering octopus, seared scallops and the most amazing 12 hour cooked pulled pork, the ambience couldn’t get any better as the sail boats glided in and out of their berths.
Glenelg truly is an amazing family suburb, offering something for everyone, but especially delivering on the important “grown up” treats that we all love to indulge in from time to time! Seawall Apartments is so lucky to have a plethora of neighbouring businesses that help us offer all of our guests truly magical experiences! Come and visit and try it for yourselves!!!
